May Day
May pole dancing during May – decorate the Maypole with flowers and with the ribbons and dance around it, making pretty patterns on the May tree.

Ascension Day
Easter eggs will be replaced on the branches above the table by 12 golden goose eggs (if you don’t have any then they are easy to make) until Whitson. Walk around the boundaries and have tea-break together at highest point (if weather agreeable).
Sponsored Walk
A 20 mile walk along the Pentland Way, split into three sections, starting at Swanston and finishing at Garvald West Linton. Participants can choose to walk some or all of the walk.
Whitsun
Whitsun – Pentecost – Golden eggs will be replaced with 12 Doves.
Garvald Summer Fair
A wonderful day of BBQ, Ice-cream, Strawberries, and children’s games, along with stalls selling items crafted in our workshops and houses.
Father’s Day
A day to celebrate all the dads!
St John`s Day
BBQ with everyone. After BBQ a St John`s event/play will be performed.
