The Friends of Garvald are a small group of people who fundraise for Garvald West Linton.
The primary means of fundraising are the stalls at the Summer and Christmas Fair and the 50/50 Club. This year the Friends of Garvald raised £ 2165
The Friends of Garvald is open to new members! (you do not need to be a parent of one of the resident), they meet twice a year prior to the Summer and Christmas and run the Friends of Garvald stall.
The 50/50 Club raised £ 1000 and gives out 11 prizes of £ 50 in monthly draws (drawn on the 1st Monday of the month by a teller of the Bank of Scotland in Kirkcudbright) and a grand Christmas draw of at least £ 250, drawn at the Christmas Fair.
